Dear Clients,

We would like to inform you that, in accordance with the Resolution of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Approval of the Regulation on the Procedure for Electronic Data Exchange between Notaries and Banks for Settlements under Real Estate and Motor Vehicle Sale and Purchase Agreements”, registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on March 16, 2026, under No. 3790, it has been established that an escrow account agreement shall be concluded by the bank with the buyer or their authorized representative based on an application, and an escrow account shall be opened and maintained accordingly.

In this regard, effective from April 1, 2026, the following fees will apply to transactions involving escrow account services for the sale and purchase of real estate and motor vehicles (including cash and non-cash deposits, transfer of funds to the seller, cash withdrawals by the seller, or transfers to another account):

• For real estate transactions: 50% of the base calculation unit (including VAT);
• For motor vehicle transactions: 25% of the base calculation unit (including VAT).

If both the buyer and the seller hold accounts with the same bank, a one-time fee will be charged. If the buyer and the seller are served by different banks, each bank will charge a commission not exceeding half of the specified amount.

In the event that the sale and purchase transaction for real estate or a motor vehicle is not concluded or is terminated, the commission fee will be refunded upon the return of funds from the escrow accounts.
